School Council
School Council aims to:
- help school life to be fun
- help improve the school, making it a better and a happier place to learn
- give all children in the school a voice and a chance to give their opinions and views about the school
- help to ensure that school is a safe place for all children, staff and visitors
- play an active role in the running of the school.
We meet every two weeks, during lunch time. School Councillors are democratically elected and suggestions boxes for pupils are in each classroom.
This year School Council are working towards Healthy Schools status. We are focusing on the theme of Active Lives. We have written a children's statement about being active and will ask pupils for ideas to help us. We will also make a notice-board to show our work.
Our elected representatives for 2023-24 are:
EY/KS1- Macaulay, Alicia, Katie, Elsie
KS2- Mabel, Jed, Peggy, Matthew, Aila, Hannah S, Josh and George.
